Well Close and its cottage is situated on the east end of the village, 2 minutes from the shops and the river walks. There are many attractive walks straight from The Cottage along the river and up into the heathered hills. The National Trust property of Cragside is within walking distance, and the National Park and coast are a short drive away. |

Both of our cottages
are located on our working Northumbrian farm, and boast spectacular
views onto the nearby Cheviot Hills, with miles of footpaths and bridleways
literally out of the front door. Guests have the opportunity of fishing
in our private trout pond, or try a game of tennis on our tennis court
during their stay |
